Get Jesus! The Bible says in Romans 10:9 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” It also says, “for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13
He died so we may live
“God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
He Rose from the dead
“Christ died for our sins…He was buried…He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures…He appeared to Peter, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred…” 1 Corinthians 15:4
He is the only path to God
“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.” John 14:6
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish, but
have eternal life —[ John 3:16 ]
Getting to know God, our Heavenly Father:
Hear, O Israel ! The Lord our God is one lord alone. You shall love the Lord, your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. ( Deuteronomy 6:4-6 )
We refer to the Holy Creator of the universe, and all life within as Yahweh ; Lord ; Jehovah ; The Great I Am ; Heavenly Father, and many others…
Regardless of which name you pray , the fact that you are reading this means that God has a plan, a purpose for you…and a message: “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” –( John 8:12 )
God has created you in His image, ( Genesis 1:27 ) and most importantly, He loves you, and wants you to seek Him with all of your heart. ( Jeremiah 29:13 ) God loves you so much, that, He wants to sanctify you; to save you from sin, and eternal punishment. “For I have come down from Heaven not to do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me” ( John 6:38 )
On the cross, Christ Jesus, the Father’s only begotten Son made atonement for the sins of all mankind. Jesus died for our sins, was resurrected, and ascended to Heaven.
“I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud, and your sins like mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you”. ( Isaiah 44:22) “But HE was pierced for our transgressions; HE was crushed for our iniquities; upon HIM was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with HIS wounds, we are healed” ( Isaiah 53:5 ) and Jesus mediates to God on your behalf; now, so we are blessed with the Holy Spirit.
“And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. 28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.“ (Romans 8:27-28)
“ Lord Jesus, I bow my heart before You. I am plagued by sin, and I need You. Lord, forgive me of my sins. I give myself over to You, in your holy name, Christ Jesus, for You are my savior, healer, and holy redeemer. Create in me a pure heart. May the Holy Spirit indwell within me, and purge me of all unrighteousness. Lord, I am only redeemed by Your blood, which You shed on the cross for my salvation. May you be glorified throughout Heaven and earth…In the name of Jesus, our Lord, Savior, and Coming King…Amen”
